Focus Group with medical professionals
On 10th of December, together with psychotherapist Delia Manciuc, Asociatia Unu si Unu from Romania organized a Focus Group with 11 medical professionals (neonatologists, gynecologists, pediatric neurologists, neonatology nurses, physiotherapists) within the MedVet project. For 3 hours, in an intimate atmosphere and with much sincerity, success stories were shared about communication between medical professionals and parents with children with disabilities or at risk, mistakes made due to lack of experience or ignorance, some situations were common (regardless of the medical specialty), some were specific problems faced only by nurses, or only by neonatologists. Following this Focus Group, Asociatia Unu si Unu will choose 2 cases to exemplify them in Life Books (2 filmed interviews) that will be included in the MedVet course resources library.
