Nearly 6,000 young people with disabilities now receive a basic support budget.

Flemish Minister of Welfare Vandeurzen allocates extra money to support children and young people with disabilities. As of the end of this month, more than 5,800 minors and young adults with disabilities will receive a so-called basic support budget. That is a fixed amount of 300 euros per month to spend freely on home care, cleaning assistance or day care.
